We cannot accept direct engagement requests from patients / workers.
Initial engagement requires a referral from a qualified medical professional.
Following receipt and assessment of referral, a client can expect to be engaged with by the team within 3 working days to book an appointment. Waiting times vary but should be appointed within 4 weeks of being contacted
We work with a range of private hospitals across the island of Ireland and will pinpoint the most suitable location upon referral.
The initial appointment would ideally take place face-to-face in a private hospital outpatient unit.
Short appointments to clarify results etc can occur via telephone consultation but these telephone calls will be agreed/booked in advance .
At present we do not offer video calls/appointments
We endeavour to have a formal report of each consultation back to the referrer within 5 working days. These are usually returned electronically with hard copy following in the post.
Clearly if additional investigations are required, the process is lengthened and depends on when these results become available.
At present we do not offer any medico legal services beyond the reading of surveillance chest x-rays.
